I’ll do that later.

I need some more time to get relaxed.

My mind requires some warm-up exercises before completing the project.

Do you go through such situations often in your life? Do you yield yourself under deadlines? If yes, then there are some rules to de-stuff the procrastination from your life.

1. Time Theft:

Charles Dickens had written in David Copperfield,

“Procrastination is the thief of time. Collar him.”

How precise yet profound!

Now the question is: How to collar time? Well, the answer is crystal clear, do whatever you want to right away. You must not wait for hours for ideas to come to you. You need to work on them. You need to find best possible solutions of your work by engaging yourself into work.

2. Putting it Off:

“I’m a big believer in putting things off, in fact, I even put off procrastinating.” Ella Varner

The quote itself is mesmerizing. Look at it and feel it. You will feel positive vibes coming to you. Putting off procrastination. What an idea!

So what does it actually mean? Procrastination is a random block that lies in your way hinders you to step ahead. pick it up and put in the side or jump right away into your work without heeding too much on how to.

3. Day of the week:

“Someday is not a day of the week.” Janet Dailey

It is a humourous quote but still thought provoking. Procrastination only works for those who are capable of maintaining it on daily basis or as a habit. Do not linger over procrastination as it would only derail you from your purpose. In the long run, it would deprive you of the enthusiasm and energy required for the specific job.
